We are pleased to announce the Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club (WROCC) as sponsors for RISC OS North. Club members should keep a close eye on their inboxes for further news about this.
WROCC will also be exhibiting at the event, as well as running the charity stand.
You’ll be able to sign up as a member of the club on their stand – or renew an existing membership; purchase a CD of back issues of their club magazine; and more.
Meanwhile, the charity stand provides a way to help a worthy cause, either by donating something that can then be used to raise money, or by buying something knowing your cash will be helping out.
The club previously organised the much-loved Wakefield Show, but sadly, due to rising costs, they have had to bow out this year, and asked the organisers of the Southwest Show if they could step in and provide an alternative. RISC OS North is the result – an amalgamation of the two events, offering the community the best of both worlds.
