If you want to keep up with the latest news about RISC OS, there are two publications you need to check out – along with a user group.
Archive is a long-running magazine, with a subscription running for six issues, with options to receive it either as a PDF delivered by email, or as a professionally printed A5 publication. Each issue features the latest news, opinions, and a selection of feature articles written by members of the community. You’ll be able to take out an subscription at the show, and the latest issue will be available to pick up on the day, along with back issues.
Drag ‘n Drop is a quarterly magazine, which comes as a PDF file. Focusing on the Raspberry Pi and Pinebook computers, but applicable to any RISC OS computer, the magazine is edited with the goal of being accessible to a wide range of users. If you visit the Drag ‘n Drop stand at the show, you’ll be able to buy a USB stick containing the latest issue, and every issue published to date.
The Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club (WROCC) will also be at the show, and one of the benefits of membership is that you’ll receive their self-titled magazine delivered as a PDF, which contains news and features written by other members.
