Come along and play

If you enjoy playing games on your RISC OS computer, there will definitely be something for you at the show.

AMCOG Games will be exhibiting, and will have a plethora of games for you to try and buy. AMCOG’s range is extensive, and there will be a new title launched at this show: Morphix. which is described as ‘a fusion between a sliding puzzle, character colour transformation, and a Mop Tops style game.’

Another exhibitor with a selection of games is Soft Rock Software. Responsible for a number of budget titles in the Archimedes days, most of those games are available on a compilation disc, along with a more modern version of one.

There are a number of games amongst R-Comp‘s extensive range of software, as well, including well known ports from other platforms such as Doom, Hexen, and Heretic.

You should also speak to Steve Fryatt. He has a few desktop puzzle games of his own for you to while away the time, along with a more extensive port of a puzzle collection, itself containing some 40 games.

If puzzle games are your preference, another source of these is Sine Nomine, with a small range hidden amongst their catalogue of more series software, and don’t forget to visit Dynabyte Software to talk about a quizzing program.
