The following exhibitors are confirmed for the show, offering visitors plenty to see, hear, and discuss with others.

If you want to explore classic hardware, investigate new RISC OS computers, play games both classic and new, or seek out that rare or much needed item for your collection, we hope there will be something here for everyone.

AMCOG Games

AMCOG Games will have physical or downloadable copies of their extensive back catalogue for sale. They will also be demonstrating their Software Development Kit and the RDSP sound synthesiser, and encouraging new RISC OS developers.

Archive Magazine

Archive is the magazine for RISC OS users. Published since 1987, every issue is packed with the latest RISC OS news, plus articles covering programming, hardware, gaming, tutorials, and hints and tips. Archive is available as a print or digital subscription. A brand new issue of Archive will be launched on the day at RISC OS North!

Chris Hall

Chris offers a range of software for free from his website, and some with a low price at shows, and also has a number of hardware projects – the latest of which is likely to be on display on his stand. In addition, he may have some updated Impression User manuals available to buy.

Drag 'n Drop Magazine

With a focus on RISC OS 5 and the Raspberry Pi, Drag ‘n Drop is a quarterly magazine for RISC OS users delivered in PDF format and, as well as the option to buy the latest issue (and back issues) at the show, there will also be a range of other publications to purchase.

Dynabyte Software

Gareth Lock will be demonstrating his latest projects, such as Quizzics, a fully-featured multiple choice quiz game, with a host of options to customise the way it plays.

The company behind the Titanium motherboard and CloudFS, Elesar offers a range of hardware and software products.

The Midlands User Group

With a mix of occasional meetings in person in the Midlands and online via the Zoom video conferencing system, free for any RISC OS user to join, the Midlands User Group will be on hand to tell you of their plans for the coming year.

Based in Leigh, the Northwest Computer Museum offers more than just a trip down memory lane. It also provides training workshops covering both the old and the new; from using retro computers, through programming, to using modern devices such as the Raspberry Pi and Arduino boards to design electronic projects.

Personal information manager Organizer, from North One Communications, is a comprehensive alternative to the Alarm application that comes with RISC OS as standard. As well as the basic clock, alarm, and calendar facilities, Organizer also provides an address book and a to do section, it can import and export its data for use in apps on other platforms.

Orpheus Internet

Orpheus Internet – the RISC OS-friendly internet service provider, and one of the organisers of this event – offer a complete package of services from standard to high-speed fibre broadband and provide full technical support and help for RISC OS, Mac OS and Windows, web hosting, and more.

Owl-Art

The Owl-Art stand is one you’ll find hard to miss, featuring a whole host of hardware hobbyist projects – many of which will be brightly lit – based around the Raspberry Pi.

R-Comp

One of the event’s organisers, R-Comp will have a wide range of hardware and software for you to look at and buy. The hardware range includes a potpourri of native RISC OS hardware, including the Pinebook Pro laptop, and the wide range of software includes something for everyone’s needs.

Retro Hardware will be offering “All things Electron” and will have available:

  • Cross-32 Meta-Assembler for the Acorn Archimedes
  • ARCIN32 (formerly known as Blitz) – a 32-Bit DMA EIDE hard drive interface for A7000, A7000+, and Risc PC.

RISC OS Open Ltd

RISC OS Open Limited (ROOL) looks after the main source tree for the operating system, and oversee its distribution for a number of compatible platforms. The ROOL website also forms the central hub of a vibrant community via its forum.

RISCOSbits

If you’re in the market for some new hardware on which to run RISC OS, the RISCOSbits stand will almost certainly have something for you, with a wide range of complete and kit-form computer systems.

The RISC OS User Group of London

The RISC OS User Group of London (ROUGOL) is a group that meets regularly online using the Zoom video conferencing system – and is therefore open to people not just in and around London, but anywhere with an internet connection. The group also organises one of the main events of the RISC OS calendar – the London Show.

Sine Nomine Software

Sine Nomine Software develops a range of software for RISC OS, including the comprehensive database Impact, and the powerful vector-based mapping application RiscOSM. Visit their stand at the show to see the latest versions of these, and more besides.

Soft Rock Software

Soft Rock Software is hoping to have a new edition of the Collection on CD and USB memory stick on sale, featuring a range of games, expanded to include both the original Archimedes version of Escape from Exeria, as well as the updated 2021 release, previously only available separately.

Steve Fryatt

With a wide range of software to talk about, Steve Fryatt will have something for everyone. His catalogue includes puzzle games, programming tools, home accounts software, and so much more.

The Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club – WROCC – are sponsors of this event, and will be on hand to tell you all about the benefits of membership. As well as their own stand, they will also be running the charity stand.

Charity Stand

In addition to all of the above – and we expect more to be added in due course – there will be a charity stand, where you will find a wide selection of hardware, software, and publications to buy while at the same time helping out a good cause.
